This would be akin to Visual Studio Code where you can drag a file's top tab to the right border and that causes the file to be displayed in a separate pane, split down the middle from the other files. Alternately, the file's top tab can be right-clicked and the user can choose "Split Right" to achieve the same functionality. The same sort of functionality exists in Notepad++ and is called "Move to Other View". And you've probably also experienced this type of functionality in various other apps as well. ]]>
