Upon finding a keyword or string matched on a line, run a pre-defined program or script.

This is very similar what you have already in highlight by color, but I propose a new tab, or another option under highlight by color to define a program or script, for example...

If line is found containing "critical failure" then run c:\folder\dostuff.bat

I would then use dostuff.bat to do a "net send" or "msg.exe" or restart a service, or maybe pskill something,
or maybe send me an email via http://www.beyondlogic.org/solutions/cmdlinemail/cmdlinemail.htm
or http://caspian.dotconf.net/menu/Software/SendEmail/
(command-line email programs)
