When I click on "Auto-Scroll to Bottom" button and restart a service for example, the grid does not auto-scroll and I have to manually scroll to see the new events... Is this somehow by design or is this a bug?

If it is by design, what is the purpose of this option if it's not performing auto-scrolling?

EDIT: The auto-scroll actually works as long as you don't click on the grid, once you click on any entry in the grid it is turned off... why is this and why is there no setting to control this behavior?

That's intended so that if you're watching the log and you want to scroll back up or highlight a line for further investigation, you don't have to manually go and disable the auto-scroll feature.

However, I'll add a request to our list for an option to force auto-scroll to stay permanently enabled.

Thanks!

We've just released LogFusion 3.0 Beta 1 (http://www.logfusion.ca/Download/Beta/), which includes a new Advanced Setting to force Auto Scroll to always be enabled.

Thanks!
