At first I thought it was broken, but I figured out after some time that you have to enable it manually after adding a new Highlight rule. Why would I not want a manually added single highlight to be enabled right away?

Only after a colleague of mine reported the same confusion, I decided to add the requests here as well.

Good question! I agree that they should be enabled automatically, and I think the only reason that we didn't do that, is because they're added in the Settings window, and after clicking OK, the log tab doesn't really have a way to know which rules are new. However, I'm sure it can be done with a bit more work, so I'll definitely add this to our feature request list :)

We've just released a new LogFusion version (http://www.logfusion.ca/Download/Beta) and there's now an option in the settings to automatically enable highlight rules when they're newly created. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.
