Some Line Numbers are always a nice option. Line numbers make it easier on some logs to remember where you were.

We do have an open feature request for line numbers, so I've added your vote to it.

Thanks!

Just a quick update, we've added line numbers, but there's a small catch.

By default, LogFusion will only load the newest 10MB of a log file when it's opened. So, in that case the line numbers won't match up to other programs if you open the entire file.

However, you can disable the option to limit the amount loaded in on the Log Settings tab in the LogFusion settings, and then it will load the entire log and the line numbers should match up to any other program that loads the entire log.

The new version can be downloaded here: http://www.logfusion.ca/Download/Beta/

Thanks!

It's actually not currently possible to disable the line numbers at the moment. However, it's on our list, so I'll post an update as soon as we add an option to turn them off :)

Thanks!

Feature request: Turn off line numbers when copying to clipboard.

Although line numbers is very useful when navigating the log, when copying a number of lines from the log, it is not always preferable to have line numbers included in the copied lines (e.g. if the lines contains dump of data: json or xml).

It is always possible to open the log in Notepad, and copy the lines from there, but then one has to navigate to the correct section in Notepad and mark the lines anew.

I'll add that to our list, and we'll be sure to post an update as soon as we have one.

Thanks!

We've just released a new version of LogFusion, and there's now an option to copy without line numbers (Shift + Ctrl + C).

You can download the latest version here: http://www.logfusion.com/Download

Thanks!
