Our DevOps teams regularly work with several environments at the same times with multiple applications on each environment. We really need to ability to group tabs (logfiles), so that we can manage our many logfiles while keeping clear overview.

Even allowing multiple instances of LogFusion, each with their own tabs would be an improvement.

We've currently got this on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it :)

Thanks!

Any idea when you guys might implement this feature? I'm asking because I'm currently looking at around 50 log tabs.

Not for the next version, but we're hoping for the version after that :)

I second this idea. Also consider a workspace solution, where you could have multiple log file views showned side by side, instead of having to switch tabs all the time. This would cater for those, having large or multiple screens, as it allows us to have a nice overview of several log files at once. E.g. all log files to dev environment in one logfusion instance and another logfusion instance having the live logs where all the workspace settings are stored in a workspace file, so you can easily open up an entire workspace

A temporary alternative to alleviate the tab-searching pain could be to enable colored tabs, similar to what LogExpert has.

It's still a lot of manual labor to color the tabs, but you only have to do it once for each tab and then drag them together into a quasi group.

+1 for this feature. It's a must have to be worth paying for a log reader otherwise I may as well continue with baretail.

May try the CLI with bat files as a low quality workaround.
