Some parts of our infrastructure are only accessible through SFTP. I would love to be able to open a logfile by simply supplying an FTP uri to it.
It would then open (and keep tailing) the logfile like any other log file.

Currently what I do is I install SFTP Net Drive Free to map the SFTP folder as network location. But it is not an optimal solution and the free edition is rather limited and I don't feel I should pay for two software packages to open a log file from SFTP location.
This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in the future.
Thanks!
