Say if I am on line 8491 (displaying all lines). When I go to click Show only highlighted item, I go to line 16777. I imagine the program is staying at the correct row count per each view mode (all vs highlighted)... but if I'm on line 8491, then when I highlight, I expect that part of the log to display on the screen.
My use case is that I have errors highlighted... but If I want more context, I unhighlight the log. When I unhighlight and go to all lines, I'm taking to a totally different place on the log. Feb 8, 2016

Do you have 8941 selected? And is 8941 highlighted, or not highlighted?

I see what you mean. I am scrolling with my mouse or using the scroll bar. So, the row selected is off the screen... Yeah, I can see how there's a pro and con to having it one or the other. I guess my choice is to use page down over scroll mouse or scroll bar.

Yeah, LogFusion tries to retain the selected row when filtering lines. When I scroll with the mouse, I usually just click a line on the screen before I filter or hide/show highlighted lines
