I have a log file that is 1411 lines long. Scrolling to the bottom (or using auto-scroll) only displays down to line 1395 and obscures line 1396.

Anyone else have this problem? I can screenshot if it helps.

Can you post a screenshot for it, that would help a lot. Thanks! :)

Thanks! That's really strange! From your screenshot, it looks like the scroll bar is missing too. Is that true? Or is it just cropped from the screenshot?

Now that you mention it, you're right. No scrollbar.

I have 'Show highlighting in scrollbar...' and 'Show position line' checked. I unchecked and rechecked those to no effect.

Ok, thanks! Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks! I noticed you have display scaling enabled (set to 125%) in Windows. If you set it to 100%, then logout and back in, does LogFusion still have this issue? I suspect it's a scaling issue, but would like to confirm :)

That was it. The scrollbar is there with markings and I see all the log.

The setting in windows said that 125% was 'standard', I believe, because of my screen resolution. Things are tiny but usable on my screen now.

This may be a problem with constant docking & undocking of my laptop. I'm not sure if windows changes scaling between laptop screen and multiple monitors.

(Edited for spelling)

Just a heads up to let you know that I haven't forgotten about this, we've just been swamped with new cases this week. I will be following up on this next week :)

I wasn't able to reproduce this here at 125% scaling with LogFusion 4.3. Are you still running into this issue after updating?

Yes, unfortunately I'm still having the problem. I switched back to 125% and I'm missing my scrollbar and the last few lines again.

I've just re-tested this and was able to get the same thing to happen here. I had to set my monitor to the same resolution as yours, as well as setting it to 125%. We'll hopefully get this all fixed up for the next version :)

Thanks!

We've just released LogFusion 5.0 Beta 1 (https://www.logfusion.ca/Download/Beta), and this should be all fixed up.

Thanks!

Is the scroll bar still missing as well? Or is it just that you can get to the last couple of lines of the log, even with the scroll bar?
